Zac Arbitman is a senior associate at Youman & Caputo, LLC. At Youman & Caputo, he maintains a complex civil litigation practice focused on representing catastrophic injury victims and whistleblowers.
Prior to joining the firm in September 2018, Zac practiced at two prominent Philadelphia-based, national law firms. Most recently, he prosecuted complex antitrust cases, consumer class actions, and whistleblower matters at Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP. Before that, Zac worked at Fox Rothschild LLP, where he represented plaintiffs and defendants in a diverse array of litigation, including personal injury cases, commercial litigation matters, and employment-related lawsuits.
Zac is consistently recognized for his skilled and zealous advocacy on behalf of his clients. Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, the independent rating service, has named him a “Rising Star” every year since 2014. This honor is awarded to no more than 2.5 percent of Pennsylvania attorneys either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less.
A Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Haverford College, Zac received his law degree from the George Washington University Law School where he served as a research assistant to Professor Christopher A. Bracey. With Professor Bracey, Zac worked on a forthcoming book on race, racism, and the law.
During law school, Zac interned at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office and was a summer associate at Fox Rothschild. He has also worked for a prominent Philadelphia boutique and a former United States congresswoman from the Philadelphia-area.
After law school, Zac joined the Litigation and Labor & Employment Departments of Fox Rothschild. Thereafter, he transitioned to Kessler Topaz and practiced in the firm’s Antitrust & Unfair Business Practices, Fiduciary Litigation, and Whistleblower Representation Groups.
Zac is also committed to ensuring individuals’ access to justice. He has handled several matters referred by Philadelphia VIP, which included first-chairing and winning an arbitration in a matter before the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and achieving a favorable settlement in another matter before that Court. For his efforts, the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania named Zac to its Pro Bono Honor Roll in multiple years.
Apart from his practice, Zac serves on the Host Committee for the Public Interest Law Center’s Annual Event and remains active in the alumni networks of the George Washington University Law School, Haverford College, and the Episcopal Academy. He previously served on the Executive Committee for the Young Friends of Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia and on the Boards of the Logan Square Neighborhood Association and GW Law’s Alumni Association.
Zac was born and raised in the Philadelphia-area, where he lives now with his wife.
